About Us
Tyson Miller has been training horses for over 10 years and is based in Waimauku, Auckland, NZ. He starts colts on-site and travels throughout the North Island for lessons and problem-solving.
Tyson runs successful horsemanship clinics nationwide, sharing his experience and methods with riders and horse owners throughout the country. He is also a returning Clinician at Equifest—New Zealand's premier equine expo—where he demonstrates his approach to colt-starting and horsemanship.
Tyson's training is rooted in the Vaquero Bridlehorse tradition, which strongly influences his philosophy and techniques. His extensive background includes working horses in film, stunts, cattle work, and roping, making him a highly skilled and versatile trainer. This range of experience has allowed Tyson to develop a practical and respectful approach to horses.

We believe that strong, durable tack goes a long way in horsemanship. Our halters and lead ropes are handmade by us using high-quality marine grade nylon. Chosen for it's weight and feel, this material provides clear communication between us and our horse. Each lead rope has been end-spliced and eye spliced for rope-to-rope contact, strength and ease of removal.
